Monte Mickle is an entrepreneurial energy executive that has spent the majority of his professional career engaged in business development. Building and managing successful teams and organizations in the retail power and oil and gas sectors have been his trademark. During the last ten years Monte has built two highly successful retail power sales organizations from the ground up, including Constellation Energy’s Texas and Illinois mid-market sales teams that set the standard for what is today the industry’s most lucrative business segment for retail energy providers in North America. Monte was recognized as “Sales Director of the Year” in 2007 by Constellation New Energy, the nation’s largest retail electric power company. From 2012-2013 he lead ConEdison Solution’s Texas sales operation, playing an integral part in the restructuring of the retail commodity business unit. Monte joined Acumen Energy Solutions in January 2014 as Senior Vice President of International Operations with responsibilities to manage and develop Acumen Energy’s businesses in Mexico and Latin America. In early 2014 Monte began working in Mexico to establish the groundwork for Enerlogix Solutions and the launch of the new electricity and natural gas ISOs..
Shortly after graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in International Relations Monte formed his own company that focused on the oil and gas sector in Latin America. For 18 years he demonstrated his true entrepreneurial drive by successfully launching multiple oilfield equipment products in Mexico and across Latin America from his Houston and Mexico City offices.
From 1998 to 2001 he lived in Mexico City with his family to supervise the winning bid and installation of critical equipment for a $520mm PEMEX offshore sub-sea pipeline project. Monte is fluent in written and oral Spanish, enabling him to successfully interact in social and business settings on both sides of the border. Having worked for two Fortune 200 companies and owning his own business gives Monte the ability to see the strengths and weaknesses of each and how to optimize the best of both business structures..

Jeffrey is a Mexican businessman and statesman. A native of Nuevo Casas Grandes, he grew up in a large family agribusiness in Northwestern Chihuahua, Mexico. After graduating with a degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University (Utah) in 1982, he returned to Mexico as an entrepreneur during the hyperinflationary eighties and, during his business career, became frustrated with the government’s monetary policies. This led to a twelve-year stint in politics. At the federal level he has served as Congressman (1997- 2000), Senator (2000-2006) and Undersecretary of Agribusiness Development (2006-2009).
With this experience he is very well connected in government circles. Mr. Jones’s focus at the Secretariat of Agriculture was centered on prospective planning, market development, and finance. He is a defender of open markets in their crucial role in the development of any nation.
Not only fluent in English and Spanish, but also bicultural, he feels very comfortable on either side of the border, and has been a long-standing promoter of greater integration in North and Central America. He believes the region has complementary resources that must work together so as to project and maintain into the foreseeable future, the most competitive and prosperous region in the world.
